About the Job

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Operations/Programs Manager to join our tight-knit and cross-functional team at florrent. This role is crucial in supporting project management efforts and has growth opportunity to evolve into a project ownership/leadership position as we scale our initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project/program management, data analytics, and a keen ability to identify trends that will drive our programs forward.

As Operations/Programs Manager, you will play a key role in interfacing between the company’s technical, operational, and commercial business units and report to florrent’s Director of Finance & Operations.

Responsibilities

florrent is looking for an Operations/Programs Manager to drive operational efficiencies in a significant growth phase. In this role, you will

  • Provide project management tools, principles, and templates for initiating and stewarding projects and programs, helping to form milestones, and quantify project health, including driving change management processes
  • Work closely with technical, operations, and sales teams to gather, curate, and report on program criteria
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration across departments to ensure alignment on project goals
  • Implement and maintain a risk tracking system - conducting historical reviews to identify successes and areas for improvement and institutionalize lessons learned to enhance future project outcomes
  • Develop and maintain dashboards for key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics for all major projects
  • Engage with technical teams to determine data sourcing methods, instruments used, and sampling frequency required for accurate reporting
  • Regularly check in with the technical team to monitor project status and provide updates to management on a weekly basis

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Business Administration, Engineering Management, Project Management, Systems Design, or related field
  • 3+ years experience in project/program management, preferably in a startup or fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Asana, Smartsheet, MS Project) and data visualization software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Python)
  • Ability to work in person and engage with the technical team regularly
  • Good self-management and willingness to meet challenges and grow through them
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical audiences
  • Bachelor’s in Data Analytics or Engineering discipline, PMP Certification, and/or hands-on technical experience in an engineering role or similar is a plus
